Summer is finally making an appearance regularly here in New Zealand so I am showing off a cat selfie from Harvey’s photoshoot taken during our holidays (with my new lens!)

Everyone was kind last week telling Harvey how smart he looked, and how handsome and, best of all, Miss Janet posted a comment on his portrait.
Harvey was THRILLED and I am sure that spring in his step is NOT just the healthy coconut oil I have sneaked into his food. He has now insisted I wipe his eye and post a picture of him enjoying head scritches from his dad because this shows how brave he is.
Why brave? There was once a time he would have shied away from dad scritches, but not now. They are his favourite.
Harvey, you most certainly ARE handsome. Good for you, getting those Dad scritches. 🙂

Oh what pretty photos of such pretty things and one handsome thing – Harvey! Scritches are wonderful and I’ve always preferred them from Mom but will “tolerate” Dad. We don’t know why that is but I’m just a Mama’s Boy I suppose! Happy Sunday!

Yes, please, send your weather this way! Winter has really started this week and some places were hit hard with various kinds of weather. Luckily we only had an inch of snow. Yay.
Oh, so summery! We are in the midst of a not lovely winter storm…wind, sleet and freezing rain, and soon, snow. UGH!
