Around this time of year I look to see if any of my photos would be worthy of being submitted to the Mono Awards and I like to share them with you for opinions and thoughts.
I am wondering about this dramatic photograph of Toulouse. I have cropped it so it is portrait orientation and adjusted the darks and lights so his eye is the centre focus.
What to you think? Remember that your monitor or screen will be different from mine but the general impression should be the same.
Below is my submission last year (2025) which received a Commended Certificate and I am hoping to do something different for 2026.

It’s a wonderful photo, very artistic – almost avant garde! I think it would be a great submission if it’s ok that it doesn’t show much of his beautiful face – I don’t know what they look for. His striking eye is the focus.

Wow, that sure is a focused kitty! It almost looks a wee bit spooky, in a good way!
