Cat Portraiture Tips and Inspiration

Kitty Vignette Portraits

I have been playing around with vignettes in Luminar Neo (review to follow). They can really guide the eye’s attention to the cat at the centre of your photograph.

These images of Toulouse all have a dark surround which I like.

The tree climbing set were a bit of a struggle to edit as the light behind but they came out just fine. The vignette and a little dodging works so well. Simple too!

  1. Wow, so beautiful!!
I sometimes use a vignette to sor tof hide an unruly background, and it brings the eye towards the subject better.
Toulouse seems to have something in his sights…and he’s in thinking mode about it!
