Angelversary Celebrations

This weekend we celebrate the lives of two of our angels. I still had a way to go with my photography in those days so the portraits are simpler. We lost Peanut on 5th September and Dash on 6th September some years apart.

Dash was a lively, busy and popular social media cat and when he was killed in a dog attack many friends mourned his passing all over the world. He was instrumental in fundraising for and helping with many cats and people. He was part of a pet community that was saving lives and keeping people in homes.

We always remember him trying hard to help find a home for sweet cat Precious who ended up with Brian’s family.

Peanut came over from Great Britain with her sisfurs Little ‘Un, Cuzz-Wuzz and Sooty and was the Cat in Charge of the family! She was 9 when we left, and 18 when she crossed the bridge. She was effortlessly the Boss without lifting a paw – we should all be more like Peanut.

My not so brilliant photos go to show, a memory can be a simple photo that raises a soft smile and many memories.

They are never gone – they are in our hearts.

  1. Such sweet memories. And no matter the image quality, we fill in the gaps.
    Have a wonderful week
