Walk Like a Ginger Cat

The family is on its Summer holiday break and enjoying some sunny gardening time here in New Zealand. I love being out in the garden with the cats and have been taking some fun photographs of cats pacing, playing and pouncing while enjoying the bright seasonal light.

One of my favourite shots taken this week, is one you might like to try. Capture your own feline as they walk like a ginger cat. The slight lift of a paw is all it takes to suggest movement and purpose.

OK it’s a ginger cat walk because Jack was the perfect ginger ninja model but, your back cat might walk like a panther or your tabby slip into and out of the shadows while walking towards you and the same amazing result can happen. Give it a try.

Mom hasn’t been successful at taking action shots of me, but I’ll have her try your challenge. I’ll just walk really really slowly so Mom has an easier time of photographing me. Tee hee hee.
