It’s time to vote here in New Zealand and people have been voting in record high numbers. Toulouse did not want to be left out of voting day, so he came with Paul and I when we went to cast our ballots at a local school.
Getting Out on Voting Day
The weather was overcast but warm enough that we were able to do a longer circular walk after voting. A chill Southerly breeze blew but it was nice to be out with Toulouse.
Ever the adventure cat, he was alert and looking around all the time. Best of all, he didn’t poop in the stroller – so we know he wasn’t scared.
I feel he may do well going out like our travelling cat Dusty, once we get the harness training right. Emily from Kitty Cat GO and her own adventure cats have some great harness training tips I am going to follow.
As a bonus to his adventures, Toulouse is also going to try some of the tasks in the new Kitty Cat Go adventure cat challenge, inspired as he has been by his voting day fun!
The Kitty Cat Go Adventure Challenge
This was Toulouse’s first long trip out in the stroller. I managed to get the wriggly boy into his harness and took our first photo as part of the #KittyCatGOAdventureChallenge which is open to all adventure cats.
If your cat walks on a harness or loves outside you might like to enter as well. Emily takes her Crew all over and you need to check out their kitty adventure blog!
