Today is the most epic day for Valentine’s Day cat portraits. I celebrate romance and cat love by framing some of my recent DSLR pictures in vintage look photo frame graphics.
But First Happy Valentine’s Day
Feast your eyes on this sparkling graphic from the PA at Bionic Basil. Isn’t this romantic.
The pictures I have used for this photographic adventure are all less than perfect. Maybe the whiskers look slightly blurred, or the framing is terrible but there is something that can be rescued in the photographs.
The bonus? Each photograph looks lovely inside a frame. Don’t waste a picture if sections of it are excellent.
Where I Got our Cat Portrait Graphics
These photo frames came from Envato Elements, although you will find plenty of free frame graphics online. I have a subscription to Envato which is very useful and I loved these vintage graphic elements.
I think that these graphics will work in Photoshop Elements or any photographic package that lets you work in layers. The file comes as a JPEG or an EPS.
The picture below is a very precious one I thought lost. It was recently downloaded from Flickr and I was pleased to rediscover it. I downloaded a lot of pictures as I was going to close my Flickr Pro account. I do not use Flickr enough to justify a paid subscription that has doubled in price.
This is a picture of Silver
He is looking his very best out in the garden. The picture without the frame looks like lots of grass with a small Silver stuck in the middle. A disappointing DSLR picture even though it is in focus but it is the perfect candidate for a vintage frame in shades of green.
I hope you enjoyed the Crew’s Valentine’s Day Cat Portraits. Cuddle your pets close and remember they are worth more than roses, and chocolates.
