If you want to be adventurous but don’t know where to start try this. A great place is adjusting your photos to black and white.
I did a post about black and white photography in lots of detail (with tips and hints) here so I will not repeat all the information, but I would like to give you an example of how a simple picture can be transformed and encourage you to try the exercise.
Jack’s original image had a bright blue sky, and, out of curiosity, I transformed the photograph to monochrome.
It works because there are strong simple shapes and lovely areas if light and shade.
What do you think?
Thank you for your kind words about Harvey.
