These are interesting times and there are many more people who may be surfing the ‘net wondering what to do with their time right now. Can I suggest that you try something different with pet photos!
I wanted to inspire pet lovers to keep active and enjoy their home time within the limits you may have been set.
I have researched previous photo posts to find a couple of things you can try with your camera, whether its a Smartphone, DLSR or Compact.

Have You Thought of Black & White Photos?
I am guessing not so this post might be an eye-opener. Black and white photography needs a bit of ‘thinking differently’ but it can be so much fun and surprise yourself a lot.
Filters in Your Photo Software or Photo App
Filters can transform your photograph into an amazing portrait, or dramatic image that will blow your friends away on social media.
If you have felt nervous about the results a filter can give, check out this post. A filter can add a touch of colour or restructure your image entirely depending on the software you use.
Whatever you do, have fun exploring and you can create something like this!

I hope these posts will set you thinking about making your own pet pictures and try something different today.
After I catch up with judging the CWA contest entries, I’m going to begin experimenting more with my cameras – both phone and Nikon DSL. Thank you for the tips you are providing.
Great to hear. You have the perfect models so I know you are on to a winner!
I hope that a lot of people start experimenting and take more photos of their pets!
I hope so! Not everyone is an expert, and not everyone wants to be. But everyone wants to take better pet photos!
You had some serious fun with those photo filters! Filters are fun for sure.
I never really thought about black and white but I played with a black and white filter on one of Plush’s that I didn’t love and now it’s one of my favorites.
I don’t often employ black and white in my professional images. I spent a long time in a newspaper career and I got very bored with black and white. I probably should shift my mindset on it.
I want beginners to explore black and white and make it part of their thinking!
Radical pictures there; very creative and well worth spending some time on whilst we have so much spare, MOL

I love Black and White Photography, there is something so powerful about the photos then. My goal next week is to start playing with my new camera and getting better pictures of Madam. Be safe and thanks for the blog hop
I need to start taking more pictures of our pups. I used to take tons!
Maybe set a little time aside when they play in the garden. Get some fun action shots.
Harvey, you’re so handsome ! We love that portrait ! Purrs
