Dot Kitten loves being out on the deck in the summer sunshine and luckily I had my camera as I sat reading beside her. I sneaked up and shot some eye-level pictures using ‘sport’ mode
For those learning their DSLR, I started by exploring the ‘P setting’ on my camera. The picture came out a little overexposed but I am reading about settings and will report once I figure some of them out so others can learn about it too.
The first selfie a picture that is too bright but it has one thing in its favour. It reminds me of Summer’s cute face when she poses.
Summer has a charming ingenue look that melts hearts. I guess Summer needn’t look to her laurels yet though, I can’t see Dot as a Therapy Cat as she adopts a very Binga like attitude sometimes.

My next step learning my camera will learning more about adjusting the different settings through the buttons on the camera, and the software accessed through the screen on the back. Frustratingly many of the magazines and books I have read so far do not cover this important step. Time for a few YouTube tutorials I think.
