Hi everyone, nice to meet you! My name is Phoebe, I am a gorgeous, good looking, long haired kitten. I am six months old and, so mum says, a bit of a Diver, no wait ….. a TOTAL CAT DIVA!
I am the latest addition to the household, and I am currently being introduced to the family (on a bit by bit, gradual, ‘getting to know you’ basis).
I have long hair and am bigger (woohooo) than some of my older siblings (check out the floofy tail!), and, as the family is learning about long hairs and how we tick, I get to have my own diary page as we learn about long hair cat tips tricks and adventures.
So let’s crack on, I have our first tip to tell you about. Our thanks go to Herman @Tattlecat and his lovely mum Kim of It’s a Wonderpurr Life for this one:-
- Long haired kittens and cats can have very fine hair. If you are like me and have the whisper soft and fluffy hair, you need a Slicker Brush to comb your hair.
- Herman recommends an ‘ejector’ type slicker brush which pushes the hair off, this keeps the brush clean, allowing it brush better! Don’t forget a gentle tummy brush and under the arms OK? Check our Amazon recommendations below. (Affiliate link – it buys me treats!)
See you next time!
