I am thankful I was able to grab the pose of a fast moving cat who paused – for a moment, then dashed away.
Not only did I capture him alert and watching, but the picture is also quite sharp. Taking sharp photos is something I am getting better at and I know you might struggle with it when you take your own cat photos. We can do this!
I do not use manual focus when shooting cat photos. Autofocus is best, and it works much better than you might think. As aspiring cat photographers you and I spend time learning a camera’s settings, and capabilities.
