I hope this encourages you to keep taking pictures even if your camera is not a fancy ‘top of the range’ model. Preserving a memory only takes one camera, of any type. Go for it.
These images are from a little Panasonic point and shoot then downloaded to a laptop. I had to be a bit of brightening but otherwise left the colour to shine by itself.
The Sedona Landscape
Like the Grand Canyon, it is hard to really grasp the beauty of the landscape in photographs but the redness and sweep of the landscape
This picture was taken towards mid-day and shows, on the right, the rock named after Charles Schulz’s cartoon dog Snoopy. The dog is laid ‘Snoopy style’ on the top of his kennel and lies in front of a distant shadowy rock with his feet towards the right. Do you see him?
A Special Sedona View
This is the view from the Oaxaca restaurant where we had a superb lunch and a gorgeous Margarita. The picture will make a love watercolour one day!
The food was plentiful and tasty, when we could stop staring at the amazing view!
