Today’s selfie shows Toulouse in one of his favourite haunts, the ornamental Carex grass on the front lawn. No-one else has been inspired to hide under its slender stems or to jump out at passing cats – but he is making the most of it, except when he stops for a cleaning break and to show a cat leg!
I darkened (dodged) the edges of the photograph to make his paw stand out a bit but otherwise the photograph unedited.
I know you will want to see Toulouse’s cute face so here he is peering from underneath the ornamental grass. I am sure that he thinks we can’t see him while he is hidden underneath.
The cats are enjoying New Zealand’s sunny summer. How is the weather with you?
