My name is Dusty, I’m one of the senior cats here now. I want to introduce myself and hope to enjoy your company here at the Dash Kitten blog. Mum does portraits, photography and smartphone movies.
My Name is Dusty. I’m in my new Senior Cats Home
I have been taken in by the Dash Kitten crew. The family who sheltered me when I was dumped by another bunch can’t take me when they move north of Wellington, New Zealand (their rental only allows four and I am number 5). You get the picture?
Adopting a Senior Pet Rocks!
If you think about it, I would be difficult to adopt at about 14, so even the Rescue couldn’t take me – they won’t be able to find me a home, and I would have medical expenses they would be reluctant to cover.
Still, here I am, safe, warm and well fed for as long as I am around – I reckon I must be the luckiest of senior cats ever – right? My new mum says Peanut must have sent me – Peanut was not going to be replaced, but if a cat in need came along………
The kids here say we have a ‘nice bunch of folks come and visit’, it’s nice to meet you all.
