How many of you remember how the Dash Kitten crew took on a senior cat at risk mid-2015, not long after our beloved Peanut crossed the Bridge?
The Dusty Cat Story
Dusty was a frail but feisty senior who we expected to live out his final two or three months with us.
He ended up staying for over 18th months and after a Boxing Day full of drama, we discovered he absolutely adored car rides.
From the day of his recovery until he passed, Dusty became a small grey superstar with his own set of short smartphone movie road trips:
- Dusty’s first starring role. ‘A visit to Petone foreshore’.
- Exploring the beach at Eastbourne
- Dusty discovers Rivendell from the Lord of the Rings movies.
Dusty cat was a fantastic cat friend, respected by all the Dash Kitten crew and passed away on the 24th of May in 2017 on his own terms, at home.
We have Dusty’s movies and will never forget him as he brought us so much joy and insight. How do you celebrate a friend who crossed the Bridge?
Thank you for giving Dusty such love and final home.
It was so nice to see him enjoying his trip to the beach 🙂
