Love the information about the different filters. Thanks for posting.
I love reading that you are experimenting with video and photos. You will be teaching me now. 😉 Meowza. Happy Holidays.
I love playing around with various filters. I haven’t tried Photo Lab yet, but will add it to my apps on the phone.
Photolab is so inspiring!
Great tips! My husband does all of our photography because I am more of a snapshot photographer.
Mew Mew hi, Miss Marjorie. Mom and I use filters on occasion in Photoshop Elements; there are many options there. One of them we used last week was the ‘Note Paper’ filter. We’ve explored filters a in Instagram app using the smartphone but haven’t saved any pictures with them applied there. Hugs.
We love Photoshop Elements it’s amazingly useful and doesn’t break the bank either.
I don’t use filters very often, but the one you used is really cool! I really like the effect. 🙂
I love the original photo! I tend to brighten some of my photos up with instagram’s built in editor but that’s about it. My husband has Lightroom on his computer and that can do a lot more but I don’t use it very often.
I love the filters, but I usually forget or maybe too lazy to apply 🙂
I don’t really do a lot of filtered photos like that at all! I tend to just lighten my pics up with Instagram’s built-in editor. I did download an app recently at the recommendation of another fellow blogger. It’s called Snapseed, and I haven’t had a chance to dig in yet!
I pretty much stick to regular photos – I’m lucky to get a decent photo. All the extra work of filters and fun just seems like extra work. Maybe when I have more time I’ll learn filters. The arty looking pictures are pretty cool I have to say.
I love how many of these filters transform photos so they look like paintings and works of arts. I feel kind of silly admitting I haven’t used them. I keep saying I’m going to experiment but then never end up getting to it. So silly I know.
Great foto. We don’t play ’round with our fotos much these days. We need to get back into that. Big hugs
Luv ya’

We mostly use Photoshop. We’ve tried PhotoLab but can never find all the cool filters you and Mudpie use. Maybe cos we’re cheap, I mean poor and only have the free version.
I was told that they change the filters available on a regular basis. It might be worth trying again CK.
Thats ever such a nice filter. You are a real wi with these tech gadgets and apps, way better than Mrs H will ever be…. I think her talents lay elsewhere, MOL

We didn’t know about Photolab but we’ll sure check it out!
Still working on learning Photoshop on the PC … can’t even think of trying stuff on my phone yet! Tech overwhelms me, good for you!
I haven’t worked much with filters … just one more way I’m WAY behind the curve as a blogger!
That is a nice effect.
That is a great effect with that filter. Spot is very handsome. All the apps on my phone have stopped working and until I get a new one I can only use it for calls texts, emails and limited internet. It is a real PITA. When I do get a new one I will have to look into that app.
