Today’s selfies come from our exciting trip to BlogPaws® in 2016 when we visited Arizona and met some of our blogging friends for the first time.
We arrived a few days before the conference and I was keen to start taking pictures. Even though I only had a Samsung point and shoot I loved recording our trip, including our visit to the Grand Canyon.
It was wonderfully warm in Arizona and the palm trees were spectacular. As you can see from these palm selfies, the light made a big impression during the BlogPaws visit.
The first sun lit alley way of palms led from our hotel block to the reception area in the distance. It made our walk to breakfast every day into something really special.
On the left and right are swimming pools. The left one was smaller and without access to a poolside bar (which meant it was quieter) so we used that a lot and later tried the tequila at the hotel bar in air-conditioned comfort.
The second photo shows how dramatic a silhouette can be. The focus in on shapes more than the colour in the first photo but both are pretty good selfies for palm trees!
Finally, a note for smartphone movie fans
It is great for us to have Randy and Owen’s perceptive opinions and reviews to share. Their intelligence and honesty will make Oscar® night a lot more special.
