We have a ginger cat selfie!
Our recent update on the cat adoption cafe went down really well so we are celebrating by sharing a Sunday Selfie of Teddy. He is one of the cats up for adoption at Neko Ngeru.
Teddy arrived at the cat cafe on the 4th of February with friend Toby (a silver tabby) and he is calmest boy with beautiful whiskers.
The rescue he came from believes he is approx. 4 years old and a gentle ‘old soul’. I thought he would be shy but he took an active part on cafe life while I was there.
We hope you will join the weekly Sunday Selfie blog hop with the Kitties Blue and a host of other friendly folks. Click on the badge, you can visit the home of the selfies and join in, it’s so much fun!
RIP MIscha – Franklet Cat
Most of you will never have heard of a small Yahoo group called Frank the Cat. It moved recently to somewhere less disruptive than Yahoo and it is the home of a small group of people who came together more time than I care to remember, long before Twitter.
The group supported a cat called Frank. His owner put a web cam in his crate while Frank recovered from an accident and the cheerleaders continued long after Frank moved to the country. The members have seen each of us though triumphs and tragedies. They have encouraged each other at critical moments in our lives and those of our fur families.
One of the founder cats Mischa in Great Britain has passed away this week-end. Please, send your good thoughts to her parents and remaining fur family Peps and Peter, Georgia and Dakota and brofur Bengal Mojo ( also a bit unwell).
