We join Brian’s Thankful Thursday with a bit of fun. Today I was not practising taking pictures, I wasn’t working out settings for my new camera, I was off on the Dash Kitten Crew’s cat stroller adventure and used my smartphone.
Cat Stroller Construction
We bought the stroller from our favourite cat cafe, and Ken helped us assemble it. I am thankful he did as I would have found it fiddly. Do-able but as Ken has done the job before I let him work his magic.
Once it was assembled the stroller looked magnificent in pink and black. It will also save me a lot of the taxi fares I would have spent taking our crew to the vets.
Stroller practicalities
The ‘carrier’ part of the stroller can be removed from the frame and used with the integral straps, which is very helpful. For now, with several visits planned before summer, the carrier will remain attached to the wheeled frame.
I had not considered a stroller practical because I thought our cats would hate it but I was mistaken. The sturdy carrier box has mesh windows for looking out, and there are strong loops and clips around the whole of the top to keep the travelling cat safe. Cats can also be made extra secure with two harness clips.
Cat Stroller Visitors
There have been two trips to the vet so far. Both have gone well and have been fun. Dot Kitten (above left) sang the song of her people all the way to the vet, but was so interested in the view as I returned home that she didn’t sing at all.
Natasha, our outdoor explorer, was a little concerned on her way down, but on the way back she sat upright and didn’t shout but was keen to watch the world go by outside the mesh.
If you like to go for walks, and like me, take a cat (or a small dog) to the vet and you don’t have access to a car, or don’t want to drive then this is a lovely stroller. Robust, well made and not heavy to push.
New Zealanders can buy the Dea Sweet Heart Pet Cart here.
We hope you enjoy your Thursday!

Sorry I am so late to comment. I love your little video, and the girls look so comfy and happy in the pictures. I guess the joy of these strollers is the safety angle and the ease. Plus, I guess you can go shopping at the pet store too and let us pick the foods we like 😉 Mol
