Seize the Moment for Tails Up At Feeding Time

Seize the Moment for Tails Up At Feeding Time

It’s fun to be at Neko Ngeru Cat Adoption Cafe for feeding time and I want to share a favourite image that will make you smile.

I was lucky to capture a picture on a recent visit to my local cat cafe that will make you smile and also backs up advice I give to my novice movie making students.

You may have to seize the moment, even if you can’t always get the focus, or the lighting perfect. Get the shot!

Tails up at Feeding Time

Richelle and Ken who own Neko Ngeru Cat Adoption Cafe are very particular about the quality of the cat food at the cafe. The standards are just as high as the human food served.

The staff feed the resident ‘worker cats’ and the rescue cats (waiting for adoption) at specific times and it is such a treat to be there at feeding time. A big plus is that I get to practice my camera work, but this can be tough when you are trying not to laugh at the feline fun. The cats are enthusiastic at mealtimes and flock around Richelle claiming they haven’t been fed for HOURS!

If you want to take a peep at the cafe check our fun video here.

I am thankful I was able to photograph feeding time at Neko Ngeru and wonder, what have you done this week you are thankful for with your fur family?
