What do you do when you create a best selling cat ladder than looks awesome inside or outside? It’s so perfect you wonder how they can make it even better?
You add top-quality catnip toys to the equation for some Monkee Tree mischief, then ‘light the blue touchpaper and retire’ to a safe distance, to take photographs with your smartphone (because the DSLR is in another room!)
A Monkee Tree Toy Surprise
The cats recently received their early holiday gift from Jennie, the lovely lady at Monkee Tree, earlier this week.
The gorgeous catnip fish and felt bauble can be suspended from the cat ladder. The toy is specially made by Little Lions a Christchurch company.

As you can see, Sienna did not want to sit still for her selfie with the new Monkee Tree cat toys. That must be some powerful ‘nip in there, and the toy is well made from sturdy fabric too. It’s one tough cat toy.
You may have read about the successful installation of the Monkee Tree cat furniture in a previous post and the cats really loves to watch bird TV from the perch at the top! I am not surprised that this is the cat ladder of choice for many rescues and cat cafes worldwide.
Take Your Own Advice
I need to listen to my own advice more too! I completely forgot to set my smartphone to burst mode for better action shots. I was not prepared! I was laughing so much though, I am not sure if it would have made a difference to the end result of a happy wriggling tortie.
I hope you will join this week’s selfies, which is the last before Christmas Day. There will be a Pet Parade on Christmas Day and Harvey insists on hosting it to close 2019 for the Dash Kitten Crew.
