Home Made Remedies for Eczema – What the Heck?

OK guys, this is an exceptional Middle Earth Monday. We need to let you know how my nervous eczema is doing. A USA pal suggested a plain and simple remedy that might help even down here in Middle Earth, when ointments and potions have caused me much distress in their application. The medicine is OK it’s the putting it on that freaks me out.

Sass and Lou, our friends at LiveLoveMeow, suggested a mixture of apple cider vinegar, salt and water, and that Mum should bathe my scabby bits with it. Mum was unsure but prepared to give it a go as the ingredients are all natural. Well friends, I am pleased to say that this is working – yes really. A gentle dab each day or so and Mum then steps back to give me space before I become a stressed out cat.

We have begun to combine the remedy with a Calming Collar from Amazon, and Rescue Remedy in the water (this is changed every day). Mum recommends the Calming Collar – it is working for me very well. I wear it VERY loose as there is no escape elastic but this is fine by me – and its very comfortable.

See you soon, maybe I will have a movie ready!

See you then,
