As you know my DSLR journey has been fun and exciting and but did I ever tell you about my jumping cat photo fails? The times I got the sport mode wrong, or only partly right?
The photos were all taken at the Neko Ngeru Cat cafe. Their cats are all indoor and are given lots of engagement and cat jumping fun.
I am getting better as capturing the movement, it is just my focus settings that need work. As I am trying out Manual mode there are plenty of not so successful photographs.
I changed this a bit and tried sport mode with my DSLR. Action shots do work in burst mode on a smartphone, its just the burst are often shorter.
You can see my first successful jumping shot in my post on action cats so, I know I can do it!
I think the next failures are even more spectacular. I can get closer and even get a tiny bit of fur in focus, maybe.
I’m sure I see some black cat fur that isn’t blurry!
