Cat Portrait Closeups Connor and Spot

I thought I should celebrate two rescue cats. These are recent portraits of two of the handsome residents at Neko Ngeru Cat Adoption Cafe. I heard a rumour that tabby Connor might be adopted and the family were considering adding one of the cafe tuxedo cats as well. This, I thought, would be the perfect place to celebrate the two active young cat boys.

Cat Portrait – Connor

A laid back boy who came in and was slightly nervous, but who he has continued to grow as a personality. Connor gains more confidence every day at the cafe, and while he seems a serious boy he loves cat toys when the mood takes him.

He posed for this shot on the cafe bean bag and was far too comfortable to move!

Cat Portrait – Spot

One of three tuxedo rescues who came in together. Spot is a lively contrast to Connor who leaps high in the air for a wand toy and will tire many cafe guests out before he loses energy and crashes in this sunny wall bed.

Spot’s cat selfie  is a rare ‘moment of repose’ for one of the cafe’s most popular tuxedos.

  6. Beautiful selfies of these 2 boys. Spot was the winner with his selfie in The Cat On My Head. Conner’s photo is wonderful. Whoever took it did a fantastic job.

  8. I have to say, your selfies are a delight, and I am hard pressed to choose between either, which I guess is why maybe they should go to their forever home together…
Love the action shot, and I agree they are very difficult to achieve. Shutter speed seems to be the key. Like chasing mice, the faster you are the easier they are to capture 😉 MOL
