Today’s short and sweet post shows a fun photo of Thomas as he raises a paw. Can you guess how I created it?
OK, I confess. Some of it was luck.
I was getting ready to take a photo of Thomas from the bottom of our deck steps when, suddenly, he stretched himself out long and I was more ready than usual to take a picture.
The paw in front of the face makes for a fun if slightly blurry shot. I managed to get one in front of his face thanks to having my camera set in ‘Sport‘ mode. The rapid sequence of shots meant that I caught the perfect photograph as one of a series as his paw came down.
- Sport mode is great for an active pet. You can catch a rabbit mid-leap or a pup leaping in the air.
As a bonus photo, I am sharing the coloured flowers of the Leucadendron bush we have in the garden. I was thankful I risked an early morning garden stroll and caught the morning mist on its flowers.
It’s winter here which is why I could catch some lovely mist, but is it summer where you are? Do you miss the cooler temperatures? I can’t wait for summer here.
