Today’s selfie is of Nabi the kitten scampering towards the window at the cat cafe.
The cat cafe has been obliged to close for safety reasons because of the pandemic. New Zealand is clamping down early as our casualties are few in number and the Prime Minister is being ultra-cautious for her citizens.

If you drop by the cat cafe on Facebook, they are continuing to post pictures. Please drop by and say hello here. A ‘like’ on one of their photos will be a boost for their morale.
Today’s selfie reminds me of some of the dramatic and high contrast news photographs. The shapes are simple and it might take you a moment to figure out what is happening. It’s not perfect and needed some use with the dodge and burn tools but I like it.
Nabi and her brother Jet have gone to their forever family and by now all of the current crop of ‘student’ kittens should have left the cafe.
I am hoping that Pan (below) will finally have found her forever home too. She has been the poster girl for my mini-course and takes a wonderful picture. Pan is a thoughtful and independent cat who deserves a respectful and loving home of her own.
STOP PRESS: Pan has been adopted!
