An online photo group I belong to has a challenge this week that is different to the one I shared for you to do, yesterday. This week our group are working in monochrome, or black and white.
As we have entered into level 3 which is slightly more relaxed we have our ‘tradie’ back painting the house. He is allowed to get back to finishing our work and we just stay inside.
Before the painter started, he washed the next part of the house exterior and left dramatic squiggles on the windows. This didn’t stop Phoebe from taking in a bit of bird TV and I took a chance to grab this photo with my Canon 1300D.
I was not sure how the photo would come out but I am thankful I looked closer. You can see a lot of Phoebe fur on her back which gives a good cat shape. She doesn’t look like a black cat silhouette.
TOP TIP: When you take photos, always download them to your computer or tablet for review in a larger format.
What you think is terrible often has a lot more detail than you think. Don’t be hard on yourself as you build your skills taking pet pictures.
