A visit to Paris is on everyone’s bucket list. After the terrorist attacks in 2014 the people of Paris did not falter, that great city beloved of visitors and romantics worldwide remains strong and beautiful.
The iconic Tour Eiffel, usually vibrant with sparkling lights at night, went dark reflecting the grief of France but, two days later, the Tour Eiffel re-opened, lit defiantly in the tricolor of France. The people walked with purpose and hope.
Let us recommend some of the simple pleasures to enjoy when finding your way around Paris!

Mum used to live there! It’s her favourite city, next to London of course! Thoughtful post xx
Thank you for this beautiful tribute to this wonderful city and its people. We purr and pray for peace, and an end to hatred and evil.
Purring for Paris. There’s no place for terrorism in this world. Almost 50 people were slain in an act of terrorism in Beirut the very next day but it didn’t make the papers.
Yep, weez sendin’ purrayers to all. This whole fing was senseless and we hate it.
Luv ya’

What a sad thing to happen. We purr for Paris…and everyone affected by senseless acts of terrorism.
Indeed we all mourn the loss of not only innocent lives but innocence full stop..such a sad and cruel world that we find hard to understand…loves Fozziemum xxx
We also enjoy Paris, and we’re glad our family over there is OK. You wrote a beautiful post. Purrs

Thank You for sharing this, a lovely tribute. purrs
That was a beautiful post about a most beautiful place.
We also enjoy Paris, but we know that Lebanon’s city of Beirut once was glorious, much like our SF. But war, and continuing bombing, etc insure we will never get to enjoy this once lovely city. Paris is not the only city with IS attacks. We know you all know this, but we hurt for those elsewhere as well. Purrs
The city looks awesome, thoughts and prayers to the people of Paris.
