6th September 2013

6th September 2013, the day we lost Dash Kitten.

We still miss Dash, so many still remember our boy and it is thanks Dash we have our blog and so many friends.

It is also thanks to Dash we explore new directions with a touch more fearlessness thanks our partially sighted boy.

We teach people to use their smartphones to make movies, we learn to take better pictures ourselves, we visit friends, we value and appreciate those friendships for their generous support and their love.

Dash Kitten in Beret #wlf

We join Brian and his family because five years is not too long to grieve, but also to celebrate Dash Kitten, a proud member of the #WLF (Whiskers Liberation Front), tireless fundraiser and supporter of rescue cats worldwide.

We also celebrate the life of First and Best Cat Peanut, who passed on the 5th of September three years ago. She was a rockstar kitty who kept us all in our place. What a lady!

At a time when we are losing a whole paw full of our fur friends, we are thankful to know each one of them, and you. Enjoy your Thankful Thursday.

  1. We are SO sorry to hear of your loss! Anniversary dates are hard – I was just remembering one of my own this morning.

Thanks for hosting (do you do an e-mail reminder just for the blog hop?)

  2. Thank you for sharing your wonderful memories of the kitties that inspired you to start blogging. We haven’t been blogging too long now, but we wish that we got to know Dash Kitten and Peanut more through your posts. We are sending you hugs today from the office.

  3. Our fur siblings are lost but never forgotten, and it is okay to shed some tears years later. My mom still tears up over past furry ones. Dash looks so dashing in that beret! Cherish all the great memories.
