When we talk about technical stuff we try our best to keep it non-scary so friends can read and understand.

So, meet Comment Luv

With this in mind we would like to introduce something that you will see at the bottom of our blog posts, it is called CommentLuv and is a WordPress Plug-in for bloggers.

After a recent CATastrophe when Miss Anna of PawsitivelyPets blog had trouble commenting – we cut our plug ins to a minimum but kept this one. We appreciate Anne approaching us onTwitter when she had a problem.

What does Comment Luv do?

Well, CommentLuv adds the commenter’s latest blog post (if they have a blog) to the bottom of their comment. Personally we find this a great help  and a real treat – it allows us to visit a fellow blogger and read their latest post simply by clicking the link CommentLuv attaches to their post.

CommentLuv the ability to return a visit as a reward for blog commenters too, we see it as a way for us to return the favour to friends who visit. The Dash Kitten blog is about sharing and learning. Any questions – just comment on Twitter @DashKitten. Thanks to Miss Savannah (below) it appears this is only for ‘self-hostedeeee’ WordPress pages.

For prospective users :- CommentLuv comes in the free form available through the WP Plugin Library or here for the much more sophisticated version – I cannot verify this version personally and add it in the interests of clarity should pals wish to read more.

I’ve been thinking of adding CommentLuv to my blog, but everyone seems to be having fun with the smilies the designer added to the regular comments that I think I’ll keep what I have for now.

Thanks Texas. It is not hard to install – and make sure you go for the free one. You are NOT obliged to buy anything.

Texas it looks like it is only for self hosted WP…says “plug ins are not allowed on WP hosted blogs for security reasons” bummer
