We love our garden and flowers here at Dash Kitten, and it has been a very warm summer here in New Zealand so flowers have been keeping the bees deliriously happy.

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday to celebrate the arrival of a new flower and to be thankful for the wonderful summer we have had this year.

Golden Calla Lily on Dash Kitten

We hope you enjoy the beautiful colours. They remind us of glowing sunny days, and the sunset we saw when we visited the Grand Canyon in the USA.

How beautiful! Peep #1 grows calla lilies, too, although she didn’t take very good care of the outside ones last year. But the one she has in a pot is in the sunroom and it’s startin’ to peek up through the soil! Now if ONLY she could learn how to grow nip. MOUSES!
