Welcome to the #DKVideo Challenge top up post! Here we are fousing in on the essentials for the challenge. We have already had a couple of movies arrive, which is thrilling to see, but there is plenty of time for even the nervous newbies to learn a skill they want to show off.

As we want to make sure you get plenty of encouragement, we have some easy step by steps to encourage you to enter, and some useful hints and tips!

  • We have added a fun FREE storyboard printable at the bottom of the post!

Here’s some useful tips to keep you on track:

  1. We are here if you have any questions or issues – never be afraid to ask. We are on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and via the comments here, or on the Official #DKVideo Launch Page.
  2. You have almost a whole month to complete your video!
  3. You do not need to make it 2 minutes long. If you can crush us with a 25 second epic Go for It!
  4. You can use any device you have, and your video does not have to be recent footage.

When your video is finished, upload it YouTube or Vimeo and fill in the simple entry form for your entry.

  • Note: You need an account with Google for YouTube, so if you are not keen on Google then Vimeo is the way to go. Vimeo have a free service without signing up to Google.

Oh, dear…I am not going to be joining, cause I am not going to add any more things to my ‘stuff’…I have had trouble from free sites, they don’t seem to ‘play well’ with my Mac…and pawppy just balks at having to help undo some of the trouble I get into…

But it will be fun to see all the various videos.
If I could just put them in my blog and make a link to that through this site maybe that would work…as I have a few clips of MJF doing tricks as a younger pup…( I have not evfur posted any videos…)

I’m so excited! I read you wonderful e-book and became inspired to do my first edited video! It took awhile but I’m proud that I was actually able to learn how to remove segments from the middle of a video, join two videos together, and add both a transition slide and a text slide! Thank You!!
