Our selfies today are from Connor at the cat cafe and flowers that have blossomed this spring in our own garden. As the chill starts to arrive in the Northern Hemisphere, here in New Zealand and Australia, the weather warms up.
Connor Poses for Cats and Flowers
You will remember a similar picture of this handsome tabby recently. He was looking directly at the camera and we had a tough job picking that particular one for that blog post.
After much thought, I have decided to post this one as well. Both a lovely portraits of this fine young gentleman cat. The picture here shows a relaxed cat in a thoughtful mood.
For those keen on a Connor update. He is continuing to develop courage and character at the cafe, and recently took his inaugural walk along the aerial walkway at the cafe. He won’t be waiting long for a home I am sure.
In New Zealand, we have our first spring shrubs and plants bursting into bloom and I have a chance to practice my close-up photography on something other than the cats.
Oddly enough both blooms are purple shades. One is a Lavender (above) and the other is a Freesia. The Freesia plant has just been lit up by the sun, and you can see the droplets of morning dew as well as some buds waiting to open.
Join us for the selfies and the excellent company of the Kitties Blue and our friends in the blogosphere.
Happy Sunday everyone, and thank you to the host of loyal Pet Parade people for your Wednesday patience while I learned a new linky tool.
