Welcome to our Worldwide Pet Blogger series of interviews with interesting pets on the web. This week we meet Panky, adventurer, blogger and Twitter pal, as well as being the right-paw to @EdnasPetHacks.
Let’s start with your adventurous beginnings. Where are you from Panky the Panfur?
I was dumped off at the end of the street on a pile of junk along with my litter brother. Some humans found us in a pillowcase. I ran away when they lifted the opening to see what was wriggling inside because I was scared. These humans approached DaMa with my brother. She ‘fostered’ him until she found him a nice home. It took a few more days to catch me and turned me over to DaMa. She wasn’t sure what to do with me but kept me safe until she can decide what to do with me.
Are you an only cat, or do you share DaMa?
There was a spotty girl here when I first came here. She kept to herself a lot. I now understand that she was near the end of her life and was preparing to take the journey to the Rainbow Bridge. She could smell me but couldn’t see or hear me as she was deaf and then formed cataracts while living here. I tried to go over to cuddle and purrs with her but DaMa thought she would harm me.
Are you an indoor or an outdoor kitty?
I’m an indoor cat. I am allowed to go out side only on a harness. You can see the video DaMa made of my adventure :

What made you take up Blogging as Panky the Panfur?
I got wise that I should have my own Mancat Musings blog because I felt some may get confused by the name of DaMa’s other blog because of it being more doggie related. It took forever for DaMa to realize that!
Mum always finds a really neat quote to go with her blog pictures. Does she collect them?
Quote collector? MOL! DaMa just has this knack for finding the right quote to accompany the pictures of me. Sometimes, it’s very easy, and other times, she has to chose between 3 different ones.
What is the magic of Twitter for you?
Twitter is fascinating. It never sleeps. Always moving. Good for honing my eye/paw coordination.
What dream is in your heart?
That every 4 legger finds a furever home, and nice kind humans to love.
