York Minster
York Minster – building begun in C1220

Last week-end of 5-7th July saw the Tour de France visit Yorkshire, Great Britain for the first time. It is a beautiful county in Northern England and the excitement is visible in the pictures of the huge crowds. We wish we could have been there!

Stage 2 – map and elevation of route York to Sheffield (which is great fun)

Thanks for sharing this with us Miranda. The humans are huge Tour fans and are watching it right now waiting for those awful cobblestones to show up. So sorry about Chris Froome and his two crashes already. Sorry you couldn’t be on the scene to watch when it came through your area.
