MeetTheMittens Day
Regular readers will remember our post about Meet the Kittens Day on 28th June, at the Rescue’s base in Kingsley Heights, Upper Hutt.  We hoped to introduce people to the wonderful kittens currently looking for homes in the area and the event exceeded our wildest dreams!

We were helped by a featured spot in the local paper, and also a beautiful spot in the Dominion Post, Wellington’s major newspaper.

During the day they rehomed Matilda, Honey Boy, Tayla, Maisey, Kefeira, and Lizzy, with Kiri, Elmo, Sorrell, and Imogen on hold to be collected after the day of the event. I think everyone will be delighted with the huge success of the event.
