SECOND UPDATE – From a lady connected to local rescue in Florida: “We had more than one rescuer on the case. Mindy was just out there and picked him up! This baby is SAFE!” I don’t know the name of the rescue, if anyone does please let me know (I will try to find out when I get home from work).
UPDATE “………… talked with Lillian, the lady in Florida this morning, and a rescue now has a trap on her porch to get the kitty and they already have a home for him. When they first set the trap up this morning, another cat walked on in to get the stinky goodness and the boy kitty was sitting there looking in at the now trapped cat. The rescue checked the trapped cat, saw she is not spayed, took her to spay her (YEA!!!) and now the trap is set for tiger kitty with fresh stinky goodness. Paws crossed he goes for the food. Marjorie I would not have know about his if not for you!!! And here I am in CA, you in NZ and the kitty in FL…Lillian was totally blown away that we have all be working together via social media just for this one little kitty…she was very appreciative…she does have an indoor kitty of her own and loves cats. Good job Marjorie and all who worked this one….”
I had not planned on another emergency post – this is on Facebook and until I find out more details I am posting it here as I cannot let this one go. Please, I have no idea of the situation – BUT a cat is starving and we need to get someone in there to see if the young fellow can be moved to a plkace of safety before he dies. This is the information I have, PLEASE if you can help in ANY way. Get in touch with a local rescue, the telephone numbers in the enclosed text (from a Facebook post). I cannot post a link from here to FB but Cat Crusade Adoption posted the story.

Some people dumped a lovely kitty in our neighborhood. I did feed him once and new he spends all his time on my doorstep. I just got out of the hospital, so cannot give him any food or anything. Can you pick him up and find him a home. He is starving. I live in Miramar, phone 954-981-0029. My heart goes out to him. Thanks. Lillian
