After a break while we recover from the passing of our movie star kitty Dusty, we want to celebrate and be thankful for Catnip! Even Dusty enjoyed a sniff of the infamous ‘nip ‘weed’!

BlogPaws Nose to Nose Awards

You may remember that the Adventurcats have been hunting for a super genus of Nepeta Cataria before, but here is Jack, guarding sitting by our catnip plant in the garden, and with this we want to celebrate Thankful Thursday with Brian and his family.

Is anyone immune to catnip?

Our Adventurcat buddy Savannah is immune to the attractions, we heard a rumour that some others are too (are you?) Most of us are not!!

We Love Catnip!

Have a good Thursday everyone.  This week-end is a holiday for our mums and dads so, local folk drive safely and enjoy Queens Birthday Week-end!

I’m super happy to report that none of my fur-sibs are immune to the nip. Although…

Although, if some of ’em were, there’d be more nip mice for me. MOUSES!

Hi Miss Miranda. So sorry to hear about the passing of your furr-iend Dusty. But just think – he is now in nip Heaven. I’m not one of those kitties that are immune to nip’s powers. Mom says it makes me very sleepy. Her Siamese kitty, before me, got so obsessed with nip that sometimes he wouldn’t want to eat food! I myself don’t know of any kitty that doesn’t get entranced somehow to the power of the nip! Tee hee hee! Cheers to the nip!

We LOVE the new site! LOOOOOOOVE! You can never go wrong with catnip, right? Bear’s a late bloomer … he used not to care – but with the toys from last year’s BlogPaws swag bag – he came into his own with catnip.

We luvs Catnip, too. Mommy has to plant it under a cage so we don’t wallow in it though. We still gets to eat it and rub it, though.

  7. As a young cat Angel Socks didn’t seem to care about nip. Mommy says it was a good thing because Whiskers was super sensitive to nip and she couldn’t keep any in the house. Even in a tin can buried at the back of the closet Whiskers could smell it and would tear everything apart trying to get to it. Then he went absolutely bonkers and Mommy was afraid he was going to make himself sick on nip. He got red eyes and everything. So Mommy didn’t buy nip as long as Whiskers was alive. After Scylla came to live with us Mommy got a cat nip toy for her and Socks discovered he liked nip.

Walker LOVES catnip, but Beau doesn’t care for it at all. He sometimes eats it, but most of the time doesn’t even care to smell it.

Yummm, I love catnip. I have several toys with catnip inside that I dearly love. And I like it sprinkled on things too. Anyway, anyhow – catnip is great.

Sparkle actually didn’t care for catnip for the first couple of years of her life (kittens often are indifferent to it until they are grown, but she was extra slow!). Me, on the other hand – I loved it right away!
