Which Format Would YOU Prefer?

Our Poll (now closed):-

We reported on our exciting Grand Canyon trip after visiting BlogPaws® as International Ambassadors. The amazing pet blogging conference was in June 2016 and we thought THAT was excitement enough, but we then went on to visit a host of places we are sharing on the blog and took some lovely pictures we are sharing in a series of BlogPaws inspired posts.

With so many people using mobile media we need to ensure you can all enjoy the pictures and information we share, and we are working on getting the balance right so most people can see our content.

We want to ask you one question, and it is this……

  • Do you prefer the MONTAGE of pictures in the blog post, as shown below?
  • Or would the SLIDESHOW (see further down) work better for you?

Here’s a comparison of the two formats. A link to the original blogpost is between the two samples so you can understand why we are asking.

For us montage, but we like it the way it is on the Blog. The view is amazing <3 Pawkisses 🙂 <3

Clickable montage. That way I can click on what I want to see first. So lovely!!

While the slideshow is beautiful, I prefer a montage so I can take my time and look at the photos that interest me the most.

Very interesting results! Not what I thought it would be at all. I’ve always preferred the clickable montage because I can see all of the photos at a glance and quickly pick and choose which ones I’d like more detail on. I guess I will have to try using a slideshow once in a while since people prefer that!

I like both, but I think the montage gives a nice, overall feel for the story you are telling.

I prefer the photo montage, slideshows take too long & sometimes freeze depending on where you’re accessing from. Beautiful photos!

I like montage. I really love how the photographs look side by side in different sizes. I can’t figure out how to make a montage on my blog, but really love the effect on other blogs.

I really like the slider. It give you a chance to really see the entire picture up close.

Marjorie, Either is fine with me, but I like the larger format of the slideshow and voted for that. Gorgeous photos!

Sometimes slideshows don’t play on our mobile devices. We do love to see the photos since I never go anywhere and the Dad can’t much due to our rigorous med schedule.

The photos are beautiful both ways, but the slideshow enables more detail to be seen with the bigger size photos.

I just clicked the individual photos in the montage. I didn’t realise each could be seen separately and larger. I still prefer the slideshow though.
